Our speakers

  • Andrew Godwin

    Andrew is a Python programmer, Django core developer and the author of South, the Django migrations framework, and has been programming, maintaining and herding machines for over a decade. When he's not sitting in front of a computer screen, he enjoys flying planes, archery, and cheese.

  • Hynek Schlawack

    Software and infrastructure engineer from Berlin, Germany. He has master's degree in computer sciences from the University of Potsdam. Hynek is involved with open source software in general and the Python community in particular for a while now and he is a proud fellow of the Python Software Foundation. He is known as an active committer on Twisted and CPython.

  • Andrew Svetlov

    Andrew is using Python since 1999. He has become Python Core Developer in 2012, participated in the development of the asyncio library, author of the aiohttp and the dozen of other asyncio-based libraries hosted on https://github.com/aio-libs/

  • Joshua Loyal

    Joshua Loyal is a Data Scientist at DataRobot. He has a M.S. in physics from Yale University and a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Duke University. As part of DataRobot's data science team, he works on developing state-of-the-art Machine Learning pipelines using many open source libraries in python. Previously, he was a researcher in experimental particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider, where he developed deep neural networks to detect exotic sub-atomic particles.

  • Tetiana Kodliuk

    Data Scientist in V.I.Tech, works with Mathematics and Data analysis for the last 8 years and has got the degree of Ph.D. in Mathematics. In the range of her interests are: Machine learning methods, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Recommendations systems, Time Series analysis. In everyday life, she uses Python, also Pyspark and other Big Data technologies for Data Science tasks. Recently she was the Lecturer of Apache Spark online course for the students of Aegis School of Business in Mumbai.
